BREAKING | Major rumor is now confirmed: Kyle Dubas already has a new gig
Now it seems that we're only waiting on the team's formal announcement. Josh Rimer, a close source to the Pittsburgh Franchise indicated the two parties were in the finalizing steps and closing in on a deal for Dubas to replace Hextall.
David Pagnotta, Insider from the 4th Period, confirmed the rumor on Twitter:
The Pens have one of the oldest core in the league with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang. They'll be looking for a new wind in hopes that it takes them to their former glory.
The Pens missed the playoffs this year ending the longest active playoffs streak with 17 years.
