It's common knowledge as of now that the Canucks are doing their due diligence on a potential Bo Horvat trade. Sportsnet just added 4 potential destinations to the rumor mill.

The Canucks have revealed that they're looking for a hockey deal in this one. Possibly multiple assets, players that are close to or even NHL players as of right now.
1. Montréal Canadiens
Give : Horvat
Receive: David Savard, Owen Beck, Jayden Struble, Florida 2023 1st, Montreal 2024 3rd.
Savard an experience right-handed defenceman fits into the ''we want to retool model'', Beck the 33rd selection in the most recent draft, is an 18-year-old centerman who almost made the cut for the WJC with Team Canada. Struble a big strong left-handed d-man playing at the collegiate level. 1st round and 3rd round pick.
It would make no sense for Montreal to move for Horvat unless an extension was signed. They're in the middle of a rebuilding phase, though adding an experienced center like him would certainly speed up that process. It makes a hefty return for Horvat and Montreal has enough depth in its prospect pool to give that much.
2. Caroline Hurricanes
Give: Horvat, Aidan McDonough
Receive: Seth Jarvis, Stefan Noesen, Scott Morrow, Carolina 2023 3rd
The Hurricanes would be an excellent fit for Horvat as a rental, Kotkaniemi has been asked to fill the void left by Vincent Trocheck when he left for New York and he hasn't been good enough. Jarvis is a former top pick from the 2020 draft. Scott Morrow is a right-handed d-man who's shown great promise at the collegiate level, and definitely fills a need for the Nucks. Though I'm not sure I would want to part ways with McDonough so soon, as he's progressed nicely and will enter professional hockey at the end of this current season.
3. Détroit Red Wings
Give: Horvat, McDonough
Receive: Sebastian Cossa, Shai Buium, Detroit 2023 1st, St. Louis 2023 2nd.
Cossa is an intriguing prospect, he's definitely one of the best netminders not playing in the NHL right now. Buium is a big 6'3'' left-shot d-man playing at the University of Denver. On my end, it does make sense for the Red Wings to hunt for Horvat, I just don't see the Canucks showing interest in such a return since it literally fills none of their needs and goes against what they've stated as their ''plan''.
4. Boston Bruins
Give: Horvat, McDonough
Receive: Fabian Lysell, John Beecher, Boston 2023 1st, Boston 2023 6th
The Bruins have been a major surprise this season and with their core aging, their cup-chasing window is about to close. Going all-in on the best center available on the market surely makes sense and they've got the means to pay for it. Lysell is a great prospect, who was playing with the Vancouver Giants no later than last year, he's done great this season as he's started his professional career with the Providence Bruins. Beecher, 1st round pick from the 2019 draft, is a big two-way centerman who's just finished his collegiate stint. Paired with the two picks this offer could definitely draw attention from the Canucks.
If these offers are on the table, depending on what the real goal for the Canucks is, I'm definitely calling both Montreal and Boston, they've got good prospect pools and picks to pay the deed. It would represent a good opportunity to add to the Canuck's depth and picks ahead of what may be the next generational draft. Who'd be your winner in this one?
