The Boston Bruins have announced that they loaned their netminder Michael DiPietro for him to join Team Canada ahead of the Spengler Cup.

DiPietro will renew with the Canucks former coach, Travis Green. The annual event takes place before New Year's eve in Davos.
The goaltender most recently guarded the pipes with the Maine Mariners in the ECHL. The Bruins have him under contract until the end of the present season.
DiPietro was dealt in the trade that allowed the Canucks to acquire Jack Studnicka, the Canucks had previously picked him with the 64th pick of the 2017 Draft.
