Former Vancouver Canucks forward Nikolay Goldobin has had an incredible 2023-24 season in the KHL so far.

Initially, he was looking to return to North America and sign with an NHL team, but he ultimately decided to stay in the KHL and inked a two-year contract with Spartak Moscow.

In recent days, Goldobin's hot streak continued and he set a new Spartak Moscow franchise record for most goals in a single season with 23.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Goldobin becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2025. There's no doubt that if he continues this strong play, he'll find himself with quite a few offers from teams around the National Hockey League.

In 33 games with Spartak Moscow, the 28-year-old has 49 points (24 goals, 25 assists), 26 penalty minutes and is a plus-eight.

Do you think Nikolay Goldobin will return to the NHL in 2025? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
