Kelsie Snow, wife of Calgary Flames Assistant General Manager, Chris Snow, announced that her husband went into cardiac arrest on Tuesday. Snow shared that once doctors got his heart going again, a scan revealed that Chris had suffered a major brain injury caused by lack of oxygen, with his doctors unfortunately not expecting him to wake up from this.
Snow has been with the Calgary Flames since 2011, holding multiple different roles within the organization before being named Assistant General Manager in 2019.
In June 2019, Chris was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, which is a rare neurological disease that affects motor neurons.
Our thoughts are with the Snow family and Flames organization at this difficult time.
