MAJOR | Former first rounder placed on waivers: An intriguing option for Allvin
Liam Foudy has been placed on waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Foudy, Columbus' 18th overall pick in 2018, has played in parts of 5 NHL seasons with the Blue Jackets. The 23-year-old has played in 90 games NHL games. Foudy has also played in 41 AHL games with the Cleveland Monsters.
Foudy had a tough NHL season in 2022-2023; he played in 62 games where he recorded 14 points and was a -28. He played in 1 NHL game this season before being waived today.
If Foudy clears, he will play in his 3rd season with the Monsters, where he has success, recording an 0.85 point-per-game average in his time with the team.
