LATEST | Canucks' Carson Soucy announces life-changing news
Ahead of his first season as a Vancouver Canuck, defenceman Carson Soucy has announced some life-changing news for him and his wife Shyla.
The Soucy's have welcome twins girls into the world, who were born this past Wednesday and were named Blake and Briar.
"Meet our sweet girls, Blake & Briar Soucy. We are over the moon excited and can't wait to take these girls home. Born September 13th, 2023," They said in a post on Instagram.
Soucy, 29, signed a three-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks on July 1st worth $9.75 million ($3.25 million AAV) after spending the previous two seasons with their Pacific Northwest rivals, the Seattle Kraken.
In 78 games during the regular season for the Kraken in 2022-23, Soucy had 16 points (three goals, 13 assists), 68 penalty minutes and was a plus-18. He went on to add two points and 12 penalty minutes in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
