LATEST | Canucks announce a change regarding their black skate uniforms
The Canucks will be wearing their popular black skate uniforms tonight when the San Jose Sharks come to Rogers Arena, but this time they'll come with a new helmet.
In a social media post, the Canucks announced the unveiling of a new matte black helmet, eliminating the glossy shine of the previous helmets the team wore with the same kits.
Fans online seemed to like the new helmets, but some complained the ad on the helmet is too big.
Tonight is the first time the team will wear these buckets but likely not the last, as the Canucks plan to wear their black skate uniforms for over a third of all home games this season.
The last time Vancouver met the San Jose Sharks they trounced them 10-1.
