LATEST | Canucks shaking up forward combos: Kuzmenko healthy scratched again?
The Vancouver Canucks look for their 25th win of the season Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues after coming off a strong 6-3 victory against Ottawa on Tuesday. Despite the win, the team saw a few interesting line combinations at practice Thursday morning in St. Louis:
Some other notes from St. Louis:
- Sam Lafferty is skating on a line with Ilya Mikheyev & Elias Pettersson
- Looks like Nils Äman is back in on the 4th line with Nils Höglander and Linus Karlsson
Andrei Kuzmenko did take some rushes swapping in and out with Höglander. Kate Pettersen (@CanucksReporter) January 4, 2024
Lafferty, 28, averages just over 12 minutes of ice time per game and typically skates in the Canucks' bottom six, while Aman who seems to be filling the open spot on the 4th line has averaged just over 10 minutes per game.
Kuzmenko, 27, was swapping in on the 4th line as an extra forward a situation he has found himself in numerous times this season. He has just 4 goals in his last 16 games and hasn't recorded an assist since November 15th.
