LATEST | NHL issues release regarding Elias Pettersson
After notching a fabulous 102 points season, it's hard to think that Elias Pettersson will ever be underrated again. The Swede registered career highs in all categories and gathered votes for the Selke Trophy award as one the best two-way forwards in the game.
Usually, when you get your name on the score sheet 102 times, a few highlights come out of it. The NHL took notice of the Canucks' superstar and released the video putting him on display:
'Just a couple of pretty Petey plays. 😍''
Pettersson is bound to headline lots of conversation since he's entering the last year of his current deal. About to enter the last year of a 3-year and $22.05M contract, the Canucks' 40 is due for a massive raise, and we're starting to think that it will be beyond the $10M AAV.
