Change of Plans - J.T. Miller's Status Confirmed By the Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks have announced today what J.T. Miller's status will be for tonight's game against the St. Louis Blues after taking a lengthy leave of absence.
Canucks superstar J.T. Miller has been away from the team since mid November, when he decided that he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons.
The Vancouver Canucks organization, Fans, media and have been standing behind him through this difficult time, even though there is no news on the exact reasons for his departure.
Originally, it was reported by TSN's Darren Dreger that J.T. Miller's target date to return to full practices would be Wednesday, but clearly, there has been a change of plans.
That's the expectation with the Canucks. Beyond that though fellas, as you would expect the organization is going to leave it entirely up to J.T. to decide when he's ready to jump back into the league and back into the Canucks lineup on a full-time basis." Dreger said.
Vancouver Canucks Confirm J.T. Miller will not play against the St. Louis Blues
There was major excitement today when it was reported that Miller was seen participating at pre-game skate, but they confirmed that this is the extent of his hockey action.
The Canucks told the media that Miller would not be playing against the St. Louis Blues this evening, and additionally, he will not be addressing the media in any capacity.
There is still ongoing speculation for the reasons of his departure, but in reality, it does not matter and it is not the business of anyone to know.
Fans are just excited to see him back on the ice, and look forward to cheering him on in his first game back.
