Sitting with a less than ideal 8-8-1 win/loss record, the Vancouver Canucks announce their lineup and starting goalie in hopes to get back into the win column against the powerhouse Winnipeg Jets.

Being one of the most inconsistent teams in the NHL for the past one and half seasons, the Vancouver Canucks have been more consistent in one category more than any other club... And that's injuries.
Along with Thatcher Demko being sat out for two straight games for "maintenance" the team has been plagued by injuries early in the season.
"We asked him this summer to take care of himself, and know in a condensed schedule when he feels he needs time off. And that's what he's doing." Foote said on Friday.

Derek Forbort, Nils Hoglander, Quinn Hughes, Brock Boeser and Jonathan Lekkerimaki have all missed significant time on the IL, and when it was not known if Demko was battling a serious ailment, fans got some very good news today.
It was announced that DDemko would be making his highly anticipated return tonight, looking to add another 2 points in the win column.
Canucks defenceman Marcus Pettersson talks about the boost of having Thatcher Demko back between the pipes.
