The Vancouver Canucks are in a position no NHL team wants to be in, with their rebuild in full effect for the rest of the year, the majority of fans want to see Jim Rutherford, Patrick Allvin, and Adam Foote depart from the team, but it looks like it's going to cost Francesco Aquilini too much money.

Allvin and Rutherford are the ones responsible for creating this nightmare in Vancouver, and Foote has not been much of a leader this season.
"The Canucks are now looking to make more moves before the deadline to acquire more draft picks and younger players. But based on who they have traded for in the past, it doesn't look like they know how to find talent, and especially leadership. A lot of eyebrows will be raised if the pair is still around by the summer."-Stinson

Francesco Aquilini cannot afford to fire Vancouver Canucks management.

Taj posted on X what it would mean financially for Canucks ownership to get rid of all three. It frankly doesn't look doable, especially with Oliver Ekman Larsson's buyout still on the books.
Dhaliwal said the owner would be on the hook for over 5 mill if he let JR, Foote and Allvin go after this season.

He already has OEL 4.5 mill dead money on the books.

"Not many owners are going to be ok with that."

Ownership already has enough to be blamed for, with how the organization is being run. From the arena, to the lack of a practice facility, to how the players in general are treated. Now if they fail to put the right people in the head office and behind the bench, the Canuck faithful are going to be demanding a sale of the team to a more suitable owner. It is not looking good for the organization as a whole.
