Seattle Kraken Insult Vancouver Canucks with Disrespectful Social Media Post
It was a tough return back to action for the Vancouver Canucks yesterday when they blew a 4-1 lead to the Kraken, but it was the actions of Seattle on social media after the game that is making headlines.
The Vancouver Canucks had complete control of the contest for most of the game, for 55 minutes to be exact. But a late 3rd period push and 3 unanswered goals sent the game to overtime.
For 55 minutes they controlled play, took a 4-1 lead, and looked like they were going to easily take two points against the Kraken. Then everything changed.
Hockey is a game of momentum, and it was clear that the Kraken had all of it going into extra time.
With Quinn Hughes out with an injury, other players had to step up, but Tyler Myers, who is not the most gifted offensively gave up a costly turnover that led to D-man Vince Dunn sealing it with his second goal of the game.
Seattle Kraken Take Shot at Vancouver Canucks on social media after major collapse
If collapsing a 4-1 lead and losing in overtime wasn't bad enough, the Seattle Kraken social media team decided to play their own part, and rub extra salt in the wound by making fun of the Canucks for choking.
Obviously, Kraken fans loved the chirp, and Canucks fans hated it, but the memes sent by Seattle is the least of Vancouver's issues.
Although currently in a playoff spot, the Canucks have an awful 7-7-6 record on while playing at home this season. They even have not managed to win back to back games once, which is marking the biggest issues for this team.
