If you followed the Canucks at all this season, it has become abundantly clear that the organization has had their fair share of problems and drama that have made its way to the public.
Since fans have to wait many months to see their favorite team back in action, some of the Canucks' biggest future stars are making major waves in the minors, bringing excitement to a dark season.
Abbotsford Canucks could make real run to win the memorial cup
Despite suffering a brutal loss to the Coachella Valley Firebirds on Saturday night, everything points to the team having a strong push to win the memorial cup, which would only bring positivity to the organization in a time they desperately need it.
It's also worth noting that the Canucks, who stole some momentum despite the loss, are still without Jonathan Lekkerimäki (dental), and Silovs has proven capable of playing at a much higher level than what handicapped the Canucks three goals.
Many names like Artur Silovs, Aatu Raty and Linus Karlsson that were up and down all season with the big club are making their mark proving why they should be with the Canucks full time next season, all making major contribution in the American Hockey League during the playoffs.
