Vancouver Canucks Face Serious Backlash From Fans Over Who They're Planning to Acquire This Offseason
Vancouver Fans are currently going after Canucks management online to express their displeasure with who they are targeting to acquire this offseason, stating that they do not know what the team really needs.
Free-agents are not lining up to sign in Vancouver and it is making the jobs of general manager Patrik Allvin and president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford very difficult.
Vancouver Canucks fans voice their frustration towards the organization online
With rumors about the team looking to bring in many big names this offseason, two players that have been at the center of all the rumblings is Minnesota Wild star forward Marco Rossi and Buffalo Sabres d-man Bowen Byram.
After scoring 60 points at just 23-years-olda and the Canucks needing a sure fire 2nd-line center, Rossi fits the mold of everything the team needs.
But, the controversy comes from the latest reports indicating that Allvin and Rutherford are trying to bring in a defenseman as a plan B for if Quinn Hughes decides to leave the organization once his contract expires in 2027.
At the end of the day the Canucks need all the help they can get.
But, with the fans do make a good point as they no longer have J.T. Miller nor Brock Boeser to fall back on moving forward.
