Vancouver Canucks Make Major Changes While in Tight Spot Amid Report regarding Quinn Hughes & Elias Pettersson
Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet has debuted a brand new lineup at practice today amid the injuries to Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson.
The Vancouver Canucks are currently facing their greatest challenge yet, as potential league MVP and defending Norris Trophy winner Quinn Hughes has been issued doubtful to play the matinee matchup against the Seattle Kraken on Saturday
«Huggy was getting evaluated today, and Petey's got something later today. They're pretty well doubtful tomorrow,» head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters this afternoon.
Vancouver Canucks Projected Lineup Vs the Seattle Kraken with Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson out with injury
Along with Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson is also being kept out with an undisclosed injury, and with the Canucks holding their first practice today since going on holiday break, head coach Rick Tocchet has had to get creative in order to fill the holes left by the two superstars.
«To me it's the hold the fort, next man mentality. That's the way we have to think. Right now, more than ever we have to play as a team and we need five percent more from everybody. That's really what it comes down to." - Rick Tocchet

Cleary major changes were in order to try and get back in the win column, just no one expected that the changes would come due to the Canucks missing two of their key players.
The Vancouver Canucks take on the Seattle Kraken tomorrow at 1:00pm PST.
