The Vancouver Canucks organization has announced a roster move this weekend involving one of the team's forward prospects, who has struggled a bit this season.
As we approach the final couple months of the regular season across North America, it's been a year that the Vancouver Canucks would like to forget and the same can be echoed for their American Hockey League and ECHL affiliates.
Injuries have wrecked havoc in Vancouver, Abbotsford and Kalamazoo, leading to all three clubs sitting near the bottom of their respective league standings, but there's light at the end of the tunnel, with some of those injured players getting close to a return to game action, leading the Canucks organization to make several roster moves over the last month.

Along with that, Abbotsford also announced that they've loaned 2020 fourth round pick Jackson Kunz to the ECHL as he continues to adapt to life as a professional hockey player after four seasons in the NCAA with the University of North Dakota.
"The following transactions have occurred:

Bloom, a native of Oakville, Ontario, was originally drafted in the in the third round (95th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in 2021 before he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks less than two years later in exchange for defenseman Riley Stillman.
In 17 games with Abbotsford this season, the 22-year-old winger has just one goal and is a minus-12, but in his first game with Kalamazoo on Saturday, made an instant impact, scoring in the third period to force overtime, where the Wings would eventually get the victory.
As for Jackson Kunz, who as mentioned is in his first year of professional hockey, he has three assists, no penalty minutes and is a minus-seven in 22 games with AHL Abbotsford and made his ECHL debut on Saturday night.
The Abbotsford Canucks will look to extend their winning streak to three games on later today as they take on the San Diego Gulls, American Hockey League affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks.
