The East Coast Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, the Kalamazoo Wings, officially finalized a trade while simultaneously announcing a key roster move with promising D prospect Jayden Lee.

It is a good thing that the affiliate teams of the Vancouver Canucks are making moves because it glaring that General Manager Patrik Allvin has still not found a solution to a lot of the teams biggest question marks.
Less than 24-hours-ago, the the Canucks' ECHL minor league team in Kalamazoo completed a trade before their season kicked off, announcing that they acquired 6'3", 205 pound d-man Ryan Dickinson from the Worcester Railers in exchange for future considerations.
The team has acquired defenseman Ryan Dickinson from the Worcester Railers for future considerations." the club said.

In 75 games in the ECHL with the Worcester Railers, the 26-year-old has put up 13 points (two goals, 11 assists), 78 penalty minutes and is a minus-seven.

Vancouver Canucks' AHL Abbotsford Canucks Recalls promising defense prospect Jayden Lee

While the Wings made a trade and needing to make room for their newly acquired blue liner, the Canucks American Hockey League affiliate in Abbotsford recalled promising defense prospect Jayden Lee.
"The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, announced Wednesday that the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) have recalled the loan defenseman Jayden Lee

Lee, 24, is coming off his first ever professional season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL impressed greatly, scoring 8 goals and 24 assists for 32 points and a Plus/Minus of 36 in 48 games.
With these numbers, he is clearly showing that he plays above the level in the ECHL, and he now will have his first opportunity to showcase his skills in the American Hockey, getting that much closer to getting a shot in the NHL if he continues his development.
