Vancouver Canucks unveil pre-season schedule for 2024-25

On Friday, the Vancouver Canucks released their pre-season schedule for 2024-25 and among the games on the calendar include a trip to Abbotsford for the fourth straight years.

The Canucks will open up their pre-season schedule at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, September 24th against the Seattle Kraken. Then the next night, they'll make the 50-minute drive southeast to Abbotsford where they'll take on the Calgary Flames.

After the game in Abbotsford, the Canucks will head out onto the road for three straight contests - Friday, September 27th against Seattle; Saturday, September 28th against Calgary; and Monday, September 30th against the Edmonton Oilers.

Rick Tocchet's group will then have a three-day break, where the roster will likely be cut significantly, before coming back to Rogers Arena on Friday, October 8th for their final game of the pre-season, where they'll face the Oilers.

Puck drop and television details for all six games have yet to be determined and tickets are set to go on sale soon, the team added on their social media post.

The pre-season will give Rick Tocchet and his coaching staff a great opportunity to evaluate players from Abbotsford who they believe can come up and make an impact right away out of training camp. There will be many names to keep an eye on including Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Aatu Raty, Linus Karlsson, among others.
