The Vancouver Canucks do not have much to celebrate this year, but Thursday night added a little positivity, defeating the Anaheim Ducks on home ice for only the sixth time this season, and Liam Ohgren decided to have a little fun with Elias Nils Pettersson during the post game media interview.

The two youngsters are hopefully going to be key contributors in the Canucks' rebuild effort, amassing a lot of young talent for the future.
"Both Allvin and Rutherford have faced heavy criticism over how they have run this team since joining the organization, and now they have to do one of the hardest things a management team has to go through."-Stinson

There is still some positivity for the Vancouver Canucks.

Rob Williams of the Daily Hive reported on the dynamic between the two young players for the Canucks. Ohgren was seen holding a stick to Pettersson's face imitating a microphone, it took a while for Pettersson to break character but he eventually did.
"It remains to be seen what this team looks like in the coming years, but Canucks management is surely hoping that D-Petey and Öhgren can be part of the solution.
Pettersson was a surprise contributor last season, appearing in 28 NHL games in his first year in North America. Öhgren, meanwhile, was one of the players the Canucks acquired in the Quinn Hughes trade. Just 22 years old, he was a first-round draft pick in 2022 — four picks after Jonathan Lekkerimäki."-Williams

It's good to see the Canucks locker room hasn't lost complete hope, and are still enjoying the little things. It's obviously been a hard season, but if they start hating coming to the rink everyday it could spell disaster for the organization. Luckily that doesn't seem to be the case.
