SIGNING ALERT | Winnipeg Jets sign their two star players to massive extensions
The Jets just made a massive announcement days away from their season opener.
They have just signed their two cult players, Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele to massive extensions:
Both players were set to hit free agency this summer and after a roller coaster of a season, nobody expected them to sign extensions this early. This will keep Hellebuyck and Scheifele under contract in Winnipeg until they're 38.
The two are key elements to the Jets' success and inking them surely points at the direction they are headed. After moving Pier-Luc Dubois this summer, this definitely is a massive change of pace.
