The Canucks GM feels like they don't need a full rebuild, but more like a little retooling to improve for next season. However, the Canucks are also trying to test the waters to see what kind of return they could get for forward J.T. Miller. The 29-year-old has been in trade rumors for a while even before the Canucks gave him a insane contract.
Miller's attitude has always been an issue, also despite having a good season with 19 goals and 32 assists Miller tends to throw tantrums. This makes teams are very hesitant to acquire him, especially with a massive contract that pays him $8 million dollars annually until the end of the 2029-30 season.
