LATEST | Canucks make an announcement regarding Arshdeep Bains
In light of their building blue program, the Canucks highlighted another of their prospects. One whose development absolutely sky-rocketed this year in his first professional season. The 20-year-old the Canucks signed out of the WHL, Arshdeep Bains, may turn into a steal.
An undrafted free agent who joined the Canucks' organization after collecting 112 points in Red Deer, he was offered a contract from the Canucks' organization and he's known an impressive progression ever since.
Chris Higgins, assistant director of the Canucks' player development, narrated the prospect's presentation:
'It's a really high ceiling for Arshdeep.»
After a strong season in Abbotsford, this edition of Building Blue focuses on #Canucks prospect Arshdeep Bains as he looks to take his game to the next level.''
The 6'00'' and 180 pounds winger has proven to be an excellent two-way player who constantly produced offensive opportunities. In his first season at the AHL level, he managed to put up 38 points in 66 games. Many analysts have listed him as the next player in Abbotsford to graduate to the NHL. Will he cause a surprise during training camp?
