LATEST | Canucks make an announcement regarding Teddy Blueger
One of the first addition the Canucks made in the last off-season, was the Latvian Teddy Blueger. A former Pittsburgh Penguin, the link to Allvin and Rutherford was already established and right now, it's paying off for both parties.
BLUEGER REACHES CAREER MILESTONE
As the Canucks hit the ice against the Maple Leafs, Blueger reached a career milestone as he played in his 300th NHL game. The Canucks issued the following statement to congratulate their forward:
Blueger's addition to the Canucks' lineup has been key, centering Dakota Joshua and Conor Garland. They've played an essential role in the team's success. The centerman has tallied 21 points in 32 outings thus far, which puts on pace for a career high 45.
Blueger came to the Canucks with a Stanley Cup ring on a one year deal worth $1.9M, safe to say he chose right when he decided to bet on himself. He'll definitely be looking at an interesting pay raise when comes the time.
