LATEST | Kevin Bieksa takes a shot at J.T. Miller on the live feed
The NHL held the first event of their All-Star celebration last night and nothing less than six Canucks players were out there. Captain Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller, Thatcher Demko and the newly acquired Elias Lindholm.
Hughes and Pettersson had the responsibility of putting their team together and picked every Canuck available apart from Lindholm who was gone before Quinn had the opportunity to select him.
BIEKSA SENDING SHOTS AT MILLER
One thing that suprised a lot of people, is how J.T. Miller fell down in the draft. When Kelly Hrudey pointed that out, the former Canuck Kevin Bieksa sent a direct shot at the Canucks' star forward:
Kelly Hrudey said he was surprised J.T. Miller got picked so late.
Bieksa, without hesitation: "They don't want to get yelled at, it's All-Star Weekend!"
Referring to certain tantrums the emotional forward threw last year, their definitely was a sense of truth behind Bieksa's humoristic comments.
At the end of the day, Miller will prove Bieksa wrong and help his team win the top All-Star Game's top honours.
