We're a month away from one of the biggest days in the NHL which is Trade deadline day. This day can make or break a team's chance at raising the Stanley Cup or for teams looking to pick up as many picks or prospects to improve for next season.
We've already seen a big deal that sent
Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders, and now unfortunately it looks like one of the League's biggest stars will not be traded after all.
The Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson is believed to be the busiest Gm on deadline day but according to Arthur Staples of the Athletic,
Patrick Kane looks like he won't be getting traded after the rumors of him heading to the Big Apple.
Staples shared the unfortunate news that Kane is having hip issues and if he in Staples's words, "doesn't want to be damaged goods should have season-ending surgery to repair it."
This is definitely unfortunate news if Kane does indeed go to have surgery as he's been having a good year points-wise despite the Blackhawks' place in the NHL standings.
Kane had already been rumored as one of the Top Trade Bait heading on to the deadline, do you think a team would be taking that big of a risk even though they know he needs surgery?
