LATEST | Rogers Arena modifications: Information regarding the black seats leaked
Lots of different theories had been flying around the change the Canucks were making at the Rogers Arena. Many had already noticed that a portion of the seats for the lower bowl had gone from the traditional maroon to black leather. The reason behind the change has now been leaked:
The Rogers Arena will now have a new VIP Seating totaling 60 seats, which will also give access to premium features. This privilege will not be restricted only to hockey games, as it will also prevail in all other events in the arena:
''-Rows 7-10 in 117 will be the new VIP seating (total of 60 seats)
-access to fancy restaurant underneath the seats, can view #Canucks players in tunnel
-dedicated entrance for VIPs only
-access to all events in arena (hockey, concerts, etc)''
While some of us dug deeper in hopes this meant they were switching the team's primary colors to move to the Flying Skate, at this point it doesn't look like it. As the Rogers Arena grows older, we are expecting other changes in the near future.
