Infamous Hockey insider Frank Seravalli released his latest edition of the market's top trade bait and he made quite the statement on that matter, stating that everything would work out pretty good in a Kasperi Kapanen VS. Brock Boeser based deal.
Seravalli didn't stop there, he listed the same usual names we've been hearing a ton among the New Jersey Devils, the New York Rangers and the Minnesota Wild. He believes that the potential return in a Boeser trade could land the Canucks nothing more than a second or perhaps a third. He uses the Pavel Buchnevich trade as a comparable.
Though if Allvin were to retained some salary, it would definitely increase the potential return. What's the Canucks best play here? Should they retain and hope for a bluechip prospect or a first rounder? Or shed cap space as much as they can and lose Boeser for a bag of pucks?
