Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has been praised for his move yesterday, acquiring Vitali Kravtsov from the New York Rangers out of nowhere, when Kravtsov was believed to be heading to the Chicago Blackhawks in a deal for Patrick Kane.

Today Allvin would announce some roster moves ahead of Monday's game revealing defenseman Ethan Bear has been placed on injured reserve. Allvin would also share that he's called up defenceman Noah Juulsen from the Canucks AHL affiliate team the Abbotsford Heat.

Bear has scored three goals, and 11 assists in 46 games this season with the Canucks and has a plus 5 rating. As for Juulsen, he's only been called up to the Canucks for two games this season. In the AHL, Juulsen has three goals and 17 assists with a plus 9 rating.
