David Pagnotta revealed that the Canucks were going to announce a press conference to indicate that Rick Tocchet would be taking over the team's bench.
Later on, Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman not only confirmed that Tocchet was taking over, but stated that Sergei Gonchar and Adam Foote were going to be named as his assistants.
Adam Foote had a successful NHL career and he certainly has experience nurturing NHL players since both his sons (Nolan Foote, Cal Foote) are currently making their way to the big leagues.
Are the Canucks taking the right direction? Both Gonchar and Foote had successful careers as players, can they shared their experience and knowledge to the Canucks and make them a better hockey team moving forward?
