The New York Rangers have been a major discussion recently regarding the trades of Vitali Kravtsov, and placing Jake Leschyshyn on waivers to try to acquire Patrick Kane, but now they are being talked about from their recent game.
The Rangers were home to face-off vs the Los Angeles Kings, and during one of the scrums Rangers forward K'Andre Miller spit in the face of Kings defenceman Drew Doughty.
Miller has been awarded a match penalty for spitting and will likely face further punishment from the NHL. After the game, Rangers Insiders would share more on the situation.
"Source says K'Andre Miller is maintaining that the spitting match penalty was accidental. No. 79 connected with Doughty to explain it was not on purpose, and that he felt bad that it happened. Apparently it was a good conversation."

NHL Hockey Insider Andy Strickland would also speak on the Miller situation:
"Hearing K'Andre Miller to likely receive around the same 3-game suspension Garnet Hathaway received for his spitting incident a few years back. #NHL knows this is not good and are expected to react accordingly. #NYR"
Here's the video. You can judge for yourself:
In our opinion, it looks like Miller spit right on Doughty's face, if that's the case he definitely should be suspended for that disgusting act. There's no room in hockey for that type of behavior.
