SCARY SCENE | Kamloops player stretchered off the ice at the Memorial Cup
The Memorial Cup is underway in Kamloops, the three top teams from revert CHL League gather for this annual meeting joined by the hosts, the Kamloops Blazers.
The hospitalities have kicked off for a few days and in today's tilt between the Peterborough Petes and the Kamloops Blazers an unfortunate event led to a player being stretchered off the ice:
''
Kyle Masters of the Kamloops Blazers taken off on a stretcher after landing awkwardly into the end boards on a hit from
Brennan Othmann.
Othmann goes over to Masters to wish him well. Blazers Coach Shaun Clouston loses his mind on officials for allowing him to do that.''
''classy by Brennan to skate over to Kyle Masters while he was being stretchered off after Othmann's awkward hit on him :( hope he's okay 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻''
We send our best wishes to Masters hoping that every thing is going to be all right. The Blazers ended up handing quite the correction to the Petes, the OHL's representative are most likely done since they've already lost their two first games with one matchup remaining against the Quebec Remparts.
