TRADE ALERT | Ryan Johansen sent to the Colorado Avalanche for former third overall pick
The deal just through, the Colorado Avalanche have just acquired the veteran centerman Ryan Johansen.
It was cleared that he had been on the trade block for awhile since the Preds were trying to unload some salary.
Ryan Johansen will be joining the Colorado Avalanche and the Preds will be retaining 50% of his $8M AAV for the remaining 2 years on his deal.
In exchange, the Avs are sending the former 3rd Overall pick, Alex Galchenyuk, who they signed after a successful PTO earlier in the season.
