Noah Hanifin is one of the hottest names on the trade market. The report suggests he's made his intentions known that he wouldn't be re-signing in Calgary. Now, every Flames' related media is making different trade offers for possible suitors to the young defenseman.

It's a well-known fact around the league that the Canucks are going to be on the market for defenders, and at the right price, Hanifin could fill every one of the Canucks needs.

The Win Column, a media covering the Calgary Flames, has now struck with a different price tag for the American-born defenseman:

To Vancouver

Noah Hanifin (Agrees to an extension)

To Calgary

Conor Garland
Jonathan Lekkerimaki
2024 1st Round Pick VAN
2025 2nd Round Pick VAN

While this one may seem closer to reality, keep in mind that the Canucks acquired Filip Hronek only a 1st and 2nd months ago. Both have shown similar numbers and have similar contractual situations, Hronek is right-handed and Hanifin left-handed. While Garland could be considered a cap dump in this scenario since his AAV is almost identical to Hanifin's, there's no logical way to include a first-round calibre prospect like Lekkerimaki in this deal.

There will certainly be interest for Hanifin in Vancouver, but it's hard to imagine Allvin will be spending that many assets.
