We've got some good news Canucks fans! The Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has acquired forward Vitali Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward William Lockwood and a 7th round pick in the 2026 NHL draft.
Kravtsov is a highly skilled winger and was the New York Rangers 9th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, the 23-year-old asked for a trade over lack of playing time on a loaded Rangers roster.
Kravtsov is a pending RFA this summer but won't be asking for major money yet due to he really hasn't proven himself yet, but will get that opportunity in Vancouver.
