Identified by his peers as the team's top golfer, the highly competitive athlete is potentially preparing for his after-nhl-career in the PGA. The Canucks number 9 will be participating in the local qualifiers for the US. Open.
In a charity event in which the Canucks participated, Miller was elected by the majority as the team's best golfer. The superstar will hit the course this weekend at The Club at Nevillewood in Presto, Pennsylvania. He'll be competing alongside 78 other amateurs for 4 spots leading to the final qualifiers.
As reported by Daniel Wagner from Vancouver is awesome, Miller isn't the first high-end golfer since Dale Tallon. Once he had retired from hockey, Tallon qualified for the US Senior Open.
