WOW! Pierre LeBrun makes a wild statement regarding two Canucks star players
We've heard a LOT of rumors since the team's most recent failures on their home ice and most recently since Saturday when it was admitted that Boeser's agent was looking to facilitate a trade.
Now new information has come up from a renowned TSN insider. Pierre LeBrun hadn't said much about the Canucks as of late and today he made a huge statement regarding the current situation of the club.
"Boeser's agent Ben Hankinson had spoken to a half-dozen teams since receiving permission last week and has more on tap to check in with this week. I don't think a trade is imminent. This is going to take some work. But the ending seems inevitable, that Boeser will be playing elsewhere before the end of the season."
He even goes further and states that it's also very likely for captain Bo Horvat. LeBrun also made a statement about J.T. Miller, who's new contract doesn't kick in until July 1st:
"..., his camp, leb by agent Brian Bartlett, has not spoken to Canucks management whatsoever about a potential change of scenery. In Miller's case, it would appear he signed an extension very much wanting to be part of the solution, and as it stands now, he wants to stay on board."
Miller has been putting up points since the season started but constantly failed to play defensively. If he wants to be part of a rebuild, he'll definitely need to step up his leadership abilities.
