The Canucks have two of the potential biggest asset ahead of the trade deadline. Once they're done dealing with Bo Horvat, Andrei Kuzmenko will be the hottest commodity in Vancouver.

Kuzmenko inked a one-year ELC at the beginning of the current season and has been outstanding ever since. The way he's played really shows that he belongs with the big boys as he's registered nothing less than 40 points in 44 games since making his debut.
Thomas Drance was on Donnie and Dhali earlier and they were in quite the argument concerning the way the Canucks should handle his case. Kuzmenko has already proven he can play and since he only carries $950K any team has the means to add him to its roster.
Have a look at the clip, Drance calls this a no-brainer. The Canucks already have lots of money invested in the wings, they have a high-scoring capacity. Yet, they can't prevent a single goal.
Though would it really make sense for the Canucks to commit the $6M or $7M to a winger such as Kuzmenko if they don't want to give that same money to their team captain and leading goal-scorer?
Drance believes that the Canucks should capitalize big on Kuzmenko's value. Teams looking to add a rental that has no cap space will pay a gigantic price to obtain a high scoring top 6 player like Kuzmenko. The Canucks are looking to re-tool, aiming to be competitive in two to three years, does it make sense to hold on to the 26-year-old?
