The Canucks have been active in the latest days making trades. Even though they didn't really follow through with the plan they had set earlier, lots of movement took place in this roster move.

Per Patrik Allvin's latest release, it surely looks like a way to manage the salary cap. Vasily Podkolzin, Noah Juulsen, Aatu Raty and Christian Wolanin were sent down to Abbotsford. The following annoucement than stated that Podkolzin, Juulsen and Wolanin would remain with the club, but instead of Raty the Canucks ended up calling Phil Di Giuseppe back to the big leagues.

Raty will report to Abbotsford for a second time this season. During his short stint with the big club, the fin managed 1 assist in 3 outings. Di Giuseppe has been a force in Abbotsford with 32 points in 39 games, over the 9 games he participated in the NHL this season he put up 3 points.

Aatu Raty definitely needs time to progress, do you believe it's the right call to send him down?
