The buzzer sounded at the end of the third period during Friday night's Game 6 between Minnesota and Dallas, with the Stars winning the series four games to two.

Immediately, attention turned to who would be leaving the Minnesota Wild this summer and the most likely name is Matt Dumba, who has been in trade rumors for months.
There will be more change in the 'State of Hockey' over the summer, but what caught everyone's eye was what Marc-Andre Fleury said regarding his playing future. Fleury says that he plans to honor the final year of his contract with the Wild and play during the 2023-24 season, but says after that, he's probably going to retire.
After saying he'll play during the 2023-24 season, Fleury added, "That might be it."

From the Wild's perspective, having Fleury play for them for another season will certainly benefit the development of future number-one netminder Jesper Wallstedt.
Even if Fleury changed his mind and decided to retire this summer, the 38-year-old has had one hell of a career in the National Hockey League with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild, winning three Stanley Cups as well as a Vezina Trophy in 2021.
The Sorel-Tracy (Quebec) native will be eligible for induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2027 if he does retire in 2024. There should be no doubt that Fleury will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Let us know what you think in the poll below.
