The Vancouver Canucks and General Manager Patrik Allvin are busy this week as we head towards the trade deadline. Allvin is looking to make an addition on forward and potentially on the blueline, but the cost of certain player may force them to look elsewhere.

That exact scenario is playing out with Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway, who the Vancouver Canucks have been linked to for a little while now.

During Tuesday's edition of 'Donnie & Dhali', Rick Dhaliwal shared that the asking price for Jordan Greenway is very high and it doesn't appear that the Vancouver Canucks can make it happen.

"Doesn't sound like that's going to happen. Asking price is high." Dhaliwal said.

Greenway, 27, has appeared in 50 games this season for the Buffalo Sabres where he's put up 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists), 39 penalty minutes and is a plus-five.

With Greenway out of the picture now, it appears that the Canucks will pivot elsewhere, with Pavel Buchnevich of the St. Louis Blues and Jason Zucker of the Arizona Coyotes the latest players to be linked to Vancouver.
