Some serious allegations were made on Corey Perry after the team chose to put him through waivers. The rumours suggesting that he had an extramarital affair with Connor Bedard caused quite the stir on social medias.
Many media outlets and respected journalist came out to state that the allegations were made-up, Corey Perry issued a statement that confirmed that these allegations had nothing to do with his removal from the team. Now the young Hockey phenom, Connor Bedard finally came out and addressed the rumours:
«It's just a bunch of BS on the internet. It's of course been an affect on myself and my family, and that's not fair. But it's out of our control. It's all just fake, made-up stuff.»
Clearly Bedard is feeling the effects of the rumours, but his intensity hasn't decreased as he currently leads NHL rookies with 18 points in 21 outings.
