Things in Edmonton are going from bad to worst. It was first believed that their goaltending woes were the source of their problems, now that Jack Campbell is down in the AHL, nothing turned around. Perhaps firing Jay Woodcroft, one of the coaches with the best record in team history, would be the solution, but yet things haven't turned around.
Connor McDavid, 26, is off to his career's worst start. The author of 15 points in 15 games along with a -5 differential. Just a year ago, McDavid managed 153 points in a single season and was so good that everybody thought the Oilers would be cup contenders. Leon Draisaitl for his part, leads the team with 22 points in 17 outings. But still, his game his filled with costly defensive mistakes.
