Oilers make last minute line up changes prior to game one
The Edmonton Oilers will face the Florida Panthers, who were Stanley Cup finalists last season.
As the first game of the Stanley Cup finals approaches tonight, the Oilers appear to be making some last-minute adjustments to their lineup. The absences of Sam Carrick and Derek Ryan at a recent practice hint at potential changes.
TSN reporter Ryan Rishaug, who attended the practice, shared the Oilers' forward lineup. Warren Foegele is on the 4th line alongside Ryan McLeod and Corey Perry. Foegele has emerged as a critical player in the 2024 playoffs, contributing a goal and two assists in just three games.
Tonight at 8:00 PM EST, the Oilers and the Panthers will clash at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Could this eleventh-hour lineup adjustment influence the Oilers' performance?
