It's now known league-wide the Hughes are an extraordinary breed of hockey players. Quinn is with the Canucks, but his younger brothers Jack and Luke are currently running the show in New Jersey, and the NHL just made an announcement following one of their newest feats.
Jack and Luke were in action against the Senators. The brothers played on another level, leading their team with six combined points. With this accomplishment, the younger Hughes became the first pair of siblings to each record three or more points since Henrik and Daniel Sedin on December 15, 20,17:
After a stellar 99-point season in 2022-2023, Jack picked up right where he left off and now has 43 points in 29 games, on pace for 114 games. Luke currently leads all rookie defencemen, has 20 in 34 outings, and is on pace for 48. Which isn't bad, but it would place him short a few points from Quinn's rookie season. The older Hughes collected 53 points in 68 games in his first NHL season.
