Seattle Kraken goalie Joey Daccord slams to the ice in failed celebration
After the Seattle Kraken secured the 2-1 overtime victory over the Calgary Flames, Kraken goalie Joey Daccord got a little to excited and over emphatic when choosing his celebration with his teammates, as it did not go to plan.
In a tight 1-1 game in overtime, with 48 seconds left on the clock, newly named captain Jordan Eberle received a tape to tape pass from defenseman Brandon Montour and then buried it over the shoulder of Dan Vladar to call game.
Joey Daccord hilariously falls when trying to celebrate the win
With all the excitement of handing the Calgary Flames their first loss of the season, Joey Daccord decided to sprint down the ice and jump onto the pile of his teammates, but for whatever reason, whether it was all the enthusiasm or adrenaline, he completely failed and went hilariously slamming to the ice.77

Daccord played well by saving 21 out of 22 shots, even though a major blunder led to the Flames' only goals against.
Head Coach Dan Bylsma Comments on the Krakens Win
«It's a bit of a slog of a game and you have to be determined to stay with it and not give them anything,» Bylsma said. «Continue to be determined to get back the other way. That's what this game presented, and that's what Calgary presents.»
