Former Canuck Tyler Toffoli takes subtle shot at Elias Pettersson
Tyler Toffoli has had quite the NHL journey travelling. The winger won the highest of honours with the Kings before moving on to the Canucks, Canadiens, Flames and now with the Devils.
NOW LINED-UP WITH THE BEST PLAYER HE'S EVER PLAYED WITH?
Now lining up with the young and highly talented Devils, the veteran can play alongside a one-of-a-kind player in Jack Hughes. Toffoli commented on Hughes' impact on the game and stated that Jack was the most talented player he had ever played with.
The 2019 1st overall pick tops a list made of Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, (soon to be hall of Famer) Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Huberdeau, Cole Caufield, Elias Lindholm:
Hughes tallied 99 points last season, and from what he's previewed in this pre-season thus far, he isn't about to slow down. It'll be exciting to see who puts up better numbers between him and Pettersson.
