Coming off an awe-inspiring season where he set a new career-high in points, Elias Pettersson has a lot of pressure on him coming into the 2023-24 season as he looks to record his second consecutive campaign with 100+ topics.
On Thursday, Electronic Arts released their ratings of the top ten players at each position ahead of NHL 24 coming out in just over a week. Today, EA Sports shared their top-ten centermen in the game, and their list featured Elias Pettersson.
Elias Pettersson is rated 92 overall to start NHL 24, which will be released on Friday, October 6th. His 92 overall rating has him as the 6th-best centerman in the game.
Pettersson joins Quinn Hughes and Thatcher Demko, who landed inside the top ten of the defenceman and goaltending lists, respectively.
Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid sits first on the top-ten centerman list at 97 overall, followed by his teammate Leon Draisaitl, who sits second at 95 overall. Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon comes in third at 95 overall, with Sidney Crosby sitting in fourth at 93 overall. Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews rounds out the top five in fifth place at 93 overall.
EA Sports NHL 24 is set to be released next Friday and is available on the following systems - Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
