LATEST | Analyst believes the Canucks are only one piece away from being serious cup contenders
The Canucks have been one of the biggest surprises since the season started. Rick Tocchet's systems and the many acquisitions the management made over the summer have been huge difference makers.
CANUCKS ONLY ONE PIECE AWAY?
Their hot start have obviously generated lots of talks and speculation around the team, but things just got even better.
During an episode of his popular podcast 'Spittin Chiclets' the popular hockey analyst Paul Bissonette made quite the statement on the Canucks and they have been playing since the season started. According to his experience and what he's seen from the club so far this season, he believes they're only a piece away from being serious cup contenders:
According to the former NHLer the Canucks don't need to address their defence, his concern sits with
Andrei Kuzmenko who may not have the ability to play situational hockey and score at a point per game rythm.
One thing is sure, the Canucks are way closer then they were and they finally taking steps toward the Western Conference's power houses like Vegas, Colorado or Dallas.
